Wheel Throwing Vase / Tumbler Workshop

Step into the world of pottery and learn the art of wheel throwing. Guided by an instructor, you’ll discover the process of shaping clay on the potter’s wheel and create your own functional vase / tumbler.

What You'll Learn

  • Preparing and centering clay on the wheel
  • Hand positioning and control for shaping
  • Techniques for forming smooth, balanced walls

What You'll Get

By the end of the workshop, you will have a unique vase/tumbler—handmade from start to finish—which will then be trimmed by the instructor and prepared for firing and glazing.

Note

  • All materials provided. No prior experience required.
  • Your pieces undergo two firings at 900° and 1220° Celsius respectively.
