What you’ll learn

  • Introduction to Clay – understanding different types of clay and their uses
  • Centering on the Wheel – the foundation of wheel throwing, learning to balance clay
  • Basic Forms – creating simple cups, bowls, and small vases
  • Handbuilding Techniques – pinch, coil, and slab methods for unique creations
  • Surface Decoration – adding patterns, carvings, or personal details
  • Glazing & Firing – Basics of glaze application and preparing your piece to be kiln-fired and ready to use.
